The program begins at 6:00 p.m. with an Insight: Museum Conversations series discussion about “Museums and the Myth of Neutrality.” Discover how museums participate in and promote systems of power, and find out what the Palmer is doing to tackle necessary changes toward anti-oppression practices. Then “stick around” or join in at 7:00 p.m. for a Social Justice Sticker Party. Grab any art supplies you have on hand, and enjoy some social and creative time doodling up art-inspired messages for social justice. Sticker Party participants can submit designs to be included in a sticker set being printed by the Palmer. All participants will receive printed stickers following the program.
